"During the summer
of 98, I had the opportunity to modify a Trio
Purple Martin House for a good friend of mine. He had
inherited two martin houses from his father-in-law.
Both houses were TG-12s, but one was in such bad shape
that we decided to make one good house from the two.
In the process of rebuilding this house, I added adjustable
crescent-shaped starling-resistant entrances."
In the process of helping
a friend, Ron grew proficient in making the Seekamp
Adjustable Door. In order to help other martin landlords
in the interest, Ron makes this service available to
those who would like to change their present round-hole
doors with the crescent shaped starling-resistant entrance.
If you are interested in modifying
your Trio Martin House doors with adjustable starling-resistant,
half moon (crescent-shaped) holes as pictured, here is
the information.

Pivot System that easily raises and lowers heavier Purple
Martin houses by anyone, including both the elderly and
women. Ron sells this design for $3.00. |
