Dear Hummers,
Click the link to see "Peeps" the young hummingbird who sustained a fall and received an injured left wing. Found by Peter, the young hummer is rehabbed. Then, Peeps goes to a real rehabber for two weeks and is released into the wild.
This is amazing video showing a young nestling trying to glean nector from a flower from a stick held by Peter. Then, amazingly, while in the cupped hand of Peter, the mother cautiously comes to the cupped hand and feeds Peeps.
The last part shows Peeps on the ground and its parent feeds Peeps on the ground.
While You-tube is the "wild, wild west," there are some amazing videos on it.
