Front Entry made smaller to minimize catching the larger bird such as doves.
Barbs are added to prevent escape.

Default Escape

How were they getting out? It looks like around the teeter toter mechanism and the back access door? The trap works 100% better when you have a live decoy in it calling to his buddies. However, they always seem to get out if you leave them in there long enough. Do you put the decoy in a separate cage han the trap?

Default Decoy Cage

Hey John,
I do have a 24"x24"36" inch decoy cage and I keep 4 live sparrows in it.

Sparrows do get out in between the teeter totter and the cage walls. They will sneak
out in between my arms and the cage walls when retrieving them. The modification
for the entrance is to minimized catching bigger birds such as doves.

The trap that is incorporated into the decay cage produces the most catch.
