Multiple Roosts

Hi Gang,

I don't know if it is just me or not but there seems to be a lot more roosts this year than I remember in previous years. I was visiting my in- laws in North Carolina and there was a roost there. Maybe because we are tied in more with the internet too. If you go on Youtube and search on 'Purple Martin Roosts' there are a bunch. Kansas City, Austin etc, etc.

Now that everybody and their brother has a camera on their telephone, everything gets video taped and put on the web. That said, I hope we really are seeing more roosts than we did 10 years ago and that there really are more birds than there were at that time.

What's your sense of it- Do you think there are more roosts?
