Default Blue Birds Looking Around

I was walking the dogs early this morning and heard a pair of BB's overhead. They were checking out one of the BB houses. It was wonderful hearing and seeing them near the house. Still a little cold around hear but they are making plans.

I hope this is a good year for our BB's and Martins.

Caty, It is great that you are seeing Bluebirds. This is the first Winter I have had any visit. Two stopped by a little over a week ago while we were having a major cold spell. They visited my almost frozen water garden and the platform feeder with lard/mix crumbles. I have my BB boxes "winterized" but the Brown-Headed Nuthatches are the only birds using them.

Wishing you a great year of Blues and Purple Martins!
