I know your here because you love martins. Well so do my friends and I.
We are hoping to restart a Purple Martin social group in Illinois.

My friend Larry and I are both involved with the Lake County Forest Preserve and we each have PM housing at our homes.

If there is enough interest in the group, I foresee having a few meetings, site visits, or just some ol' get together to talk about Martins.

It would be great to see the PMSI started up again. I attended a handful of meetings when they were held in Dupage County four years ago. It was a great learning tool, meeting and hearing from experienced landlords and wannabes like myself. I've been trying to attract martins to my home site for twelve years without any success. Perhaps my luck has changed as the last five days have brought me an SY male. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the year.
