The
Troyer-14 House Model #T-14
Andrew
Troyer of Conneautville, PA is
a former PMCA Purple Martin Landlord
of the Year. His design
of the T-14 is, in the opinion of many,
an outstanding wooden house. It is
a 14-unit house with compartments in
four compass directions.
While
it looks as though it is a very large
house, it does come apart in each compass
direction (4 sections) for easy removal
to the garage for the winter. 
This
house boasts of all 6" x 12" units
and a heavy duty winching system for
easy vertical raising and lowering.
No
need for PDs on this house as each unit
faces a different direction and there
is no Male Porch Domination Behavior
with this house.
A
starling/sparrow trap insert and artificial
wooden nest inserts are available for
this house.
The
architect of this martin house has also
recently devised a collapsible, but heavy-duty
predator guard and a combination starling/sparrow
trap for internal trapping of these birds.
